If the text screen doesn't freeze, this review may survive to posting. This 4S has not been modified, jail broken, or received any new apps since delivery 1 week ago. Having owned 2 Blackberries, a Motorola Droid, a week with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the 32-gig i-phone 4s has many of the same frustrating problems of the former Droids. Type anything longer than 4 lines and the text screen is likely to hang. Unlike the last Droid, it has enough volume to be heard and it receives calls. Hard resets temporarily fix the text freezes, but the tactile type screen is not big-hand friendly and the auto-suggest manages to anticipate the correct next word about 1/3 of the time and often balky to undo. Sending email is a problem as the phone is likely to respond to send commands with nonsense like "the destination carrier does not accept Relayed messages". I don't work for RIM, but a return to a Blackberry may be inevitable.

I confirmed with Samsung representatives after calling in and verifying with them the product serial number on the phone I received that there is no such thing as a International Warranty with this phone.I promptly returned it.This is false advertisement and needs to be changed.Phone is great, but the fact that I paid extra for non-existent warranty is not.

Just got this phone and paid 680 USD. Prices are falling, so if you wait a bit it should be cheaper. The one I got appears to be an "import" from the UK. A couple of complaints: not so good single speaker on the back which sounds plastic-like similar those cheap clear-membrane loudspeakers, but headphones are better. And, the battery life is very short if you play games or watch movies. I have to charge it everyday. Hopefully, Moto will get enough complaints about the battery life and design a better battery for future phones. It takes the micro SIM, so I had to cut my old one to "fit" into the smaller slot - I did not want to change my number and micro SIMs are a bit harder to find in China. Overall, a good phone, thin and light to carry, and wide screen (I can't imagine what the Galaxy S2 LTE HD at 4.65 feels like - huge maybe in comparison). Video in low light is good, but nothing to write home about. So, you will pay a premium for a skinny mobile and keep the charger with you... Cheers!

I bought this Iphone as a stop gap so I could have an Iphone 4 from Verizon without having to re up my contract- which I would do when the new Iphone 5 comes out. Bought it from this Amazon third party seller. It came two days after I ordered it. It is perfect! New and works like a dream. So if you don't want to spend full retail on this phone, and don't want to re-up your Verizon contract, this is the ONLY way to go!! Excellent!!

I am a new apple product user. I purchased a new phone within the last 6 months. To date I have had nothing but problems. It started with the unique password I had to create. Not a big problem, but your requirement to put in the password multiple times if I'm down loading two or three apps, is excessive.Then I had the problem with my voice mail. My clients started reporting that my voice mailbox was full. My IPhone said I did not have any voice mails but when someone tried to leave a message, the mailbox was full. It took 2 weeks for you (Apple) to correct the problem.Siri has become a joke. It works great when hooked to a local network. I love the features and became used to asking Siri to provide info when needed.I was traveling in my car with 3G service needing info from my phone and Siri stated it could not help me. Getting used to how easy my new phone worked, then in a time of need, it let me down. This is not acceptable. I started keeping track and 50% of the time Siri lets me down when needed in my car even though the phone signal is strong.My wife and I were enjoying a night out with friends and we were discussing a new app call Gas Buddy. I tried to download the app and a whole new level of security was required. I responded with the answer to a required security question and another question was asked, and another, and another.
